Housing Authority Board
Responsible for planning, construction, and operation of dwelling accommodations for persons with low incomes, under the auspices of the Raleigh Housing Authority. Also makes recommendations concerning the clearing and reconstruction of areas in which unsafe or unsanitary housing conditions exist. Established by Resolution No. (1971) 137 and Resolution No. (1971) 168. City of Raleigh Mayor makes appointments. Amended By Laws 1/97 - Seven members appointed by the Mayor.
