Community Capacity Building Issue Team
This issue team is responsible for building community capacity through leadership and personal development of Southeast Raleigh Assembly area citizens. Leadership and entrepreneurial skill development of youth and adults is a primary focus. Enriching cultural involvement and diversity through the arts and multi-faceted community involvement venues are other important elements.
Responsibilities for the Community Capacity Building Issue Team:

Researches, identifies, and promotes programs to address leadership development, wealth building, and institutionalization of the entrepreneurial spirit within the community.

Promotes cultural group activities

Develops recommendations to the performing arts seasonal selections and provide input of members appointed to the arts commission from SERA.

Recruits community leaders to help plan and conduct community involvement programs.

Determines programs for CTV, Newsletter, PR strategies, inserts

Plans and conducts educational programs about City of Raleigh

Engages the community through Town Hall Meetings
Meeting Information: This team meets the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm.
