06/01/07	Attended the Dedication Ceremony for Brier Creek Elementary School and Community Center Attended the Opening Ceremonies of the 2007 North Carolina Special Olympics at Dorton Arena Fairgrounds. Learn more about the North Carolina Special Olympics.
06/02/07	Attended an Apostles Build Home Dedication Ceremony. An Apostles Build is a project in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity. Learn more about Habitat for Humanity of Wake County
06/03/07	Visited First Baptist Church on North Salisbury Street to show his appreciation for the church's role in downtown revitalization efforts.

06/07/07	Attended the Employee Service Awards Luncheon, where the City of Raleigh Employee of the Year will be named.

06/12/07	Will attend a meeting of the Budget and Economic Development Committee Will attend the Downtown Development Luncheon
06/16/07	Will attend the Lake Raleigh Fishing Pier Grand Opening and Dedication. The fishing pier is being built as a collaborative effort between N.C. State and the North Carolina Wildlife Commission. This amenity will provide the public with the ability to fish, kayak and canoe in Lake Raleigh and will be connected to a system of greenways being built throughout Centennial Campus.
