07/08/08	Meeting of the Budget and Economic Development Committee Attending event in conjunction with Builders Of Hope, a non-profit organization that facilitates partnerships between business community, humanitarian organizations and local government entities to create home ownership, education and career opportunities for working families whose income falls below the median, including many public employees, teachers and technical workers who work within the city limits. 07/11/08	Will attend the Breakfast Roundtable at the Chamber of Commerce.
07/13/08	North Carolina Theater's 25th Anniversary Celebration at Memorial Auditorium. The mission of North Carolina Theatre is to strengthen the cultural vitality of the region and cultivate musical theatre appreciation by producing outstanding professional Broadway musicals and developing the next generation of artists through youth training, performance and outreach programs. 07/14/08	Making a special proclamation on behalf of Raleigh firefighters at Nash Square. In honor of the fund-raising efforts of the firefighters of Raleigh, the Muscular Dystrophy Association is sponsoring Raleigh Firefighter Appreciation Month for the month of July.
