As part of its core mission, the Raleigh Arts Commission is committed to supporting programs and initiatives that engage the public in interacting with, and learning about the arts. For more than three decades, the Commission has sponsored (or co-sponsored) a number of public events, workshops, town hall meetings, conferences, and forums on a variety of arts-related topics.
In addition to public events, the Commission proudly sponsors two new community outreach activities, the Piedmont Laureate Program and the Artist of Tomorrow Scholarship.
Raleigh's arts scene offers something for everyone - whether it be learning to play a musical instrument, creating a piece of pottery, taking a dance class, or painting a portrait of your family. Enjoy exploring your interests in the arts!
