The Little German Band and Dancers, is an all-volunteer non-profit group dedicated to having fun while promoting Bavarian and German music and dance.  Formed in 1971, the group has grown to over 80 musicians and folk dancers and performs about 60 times each year in North Carolina and neighboring States. Participation is open to anyone at any musical skill level or age.

The North Carolina Symphony is a full-time, professional orchestra with 65 members. With its home in Raleigh, North Carolina's Meymandi Concert Hall, the symphony performs about 60 concerts a year in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Cary metropolitan area. One of the Symphony’s proudest achievements is that it has one of the most extensive education programs of any U.S. orchestra.
