Sanderford Neighborhood Center


Citizen Advisory Council (CAC) District: South

Background

Included in the approved 2003 Bond Program is a new neighborhood center in Sanderford Park, which may include a multipurpose room(s), class room, staff area, storage, kitchen, mechanical room, restrooms, and security system.  A site analysis will be conducted to determine the most appropriate building location for the center.  Other related work may include additional parking spaces, walkways, landscaping, etc.   The new center and its associated parking and pathways will be constructed to meet universal accessibility guidelines.

Status

The construction contract has been awarded to Sparrow Construction Co. Construction is currently underway and is expected to complete summer 2009. The updated design renderings provided by the consulting firm, HH Architecture, are posted below.
