Anderson Point Cottage

The enchanting historic Anderson Family Homestead is a wonderful place for wedding receptions, small conferences, and other special events.  The exposed beams and all wood interior take you back to a slower paced time.  The open floor plan is conducive to mingling cocktail parties, intimate rehearsal dinners or receptions.  The cottage contains a full size kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, sink, and industrial size icemaker.   The floor plan includes a foyer area with men’s and women’s restrooms, one large room (dimension: 24ft x 29ft) with double doors leading to the back porch, a small conversation area, a dining nook that is often used for a buffet line, and an upstairs private room which is great for a bridal changing area.

There are 55 folding chairs and 10 six foot rectangular tables available for use.  Alcoholic beverages can be served on a limited basis with a required permit. No liquor is allowed on the premises. The renter is responsible for set-up and clean-up and is expected to leave the cottage in the same condition it was at the start of the rental.  Maximum occupancy is 70 people.
