Waterfront Program Center: Conference Room, Deck, and Verandah
Lake Johnson’s Waterfront Program Center, conference room and open deck area offers a beautiful setting to hold a variety of special events including: wedding/receptions, family reunions, company outings, business meetings, etc. Comprising of a 25’x40’ conference room that overlooks a beautiful scenic view of the lake, the room includes a warming kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, ice machine, coffee pot, and countertop space. Reservations should be made in advance. Also available to rent is our large deck area with a covered verandah.

Magnolia Cottage
The Magnolia Cottage offers a variety of opportunities by adding a truly unique and innovative dimension to the recreational experience. Nestled deep within the serene woods of Lake Johnson Park, the house has a picturesque and peaceful setting ideal for both intimate and professional functions, and a host of recreational activities. Built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Magnolia Cottage mirrors the mastery in design and use of the light. These architectural elements are evident in all three of its spacious and inviting rooms, in addition to an enclosed sunroom, and private outdoor deck. Also has a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffee pot.
$275 for a minimum of 4 hours
$60 each additional hour

Additional Rental Fees
Deposits: (Required for Conference Room and Magnolia Cottage)
-$75 refundable security deposit. This is returned as long as the room is returned in the same condition as found. Deposit is returned after the day of your event.
-AV Equipment: $20/day audio/visual fee if equipment is requested.
Equipment on hand includes a 35” color monitor with VCR/DVD player, Karaoke machine, an overhead transparency projector, a 35MM carousel slide projector, and a dry erase board.
-After-Hours Rental: Rentals lasting beyond normal park closing hours (dusk) will require an additional $40/hr. to maintain part-time staff on hand. No rentals past 12:00am.
Picnic Shelters
Lake Johnson has three picnic shelters available for use located in various areas throughout the park. Use of the shelters can be accomplished in two ways. One is first-come first-serve. If you want to make use of the shelters, and they are available, you may do so. The other method is to reserve the shelter, which guarantees your use of the shelter. Reservations have preference over first-come first-serve.
Small Shelters 1 & 2 hold 15-20 people.
$25/half day (Sunrise - 2 pm or 3 pm - Sunset)
$50/full day (Sunrise - sunset)
Medium Shelter 4 holds 30-35 people.
$35/half day (Sunrise - 2 pm or 3 pm - Sunset)
$70/full day (Sunrise - sunset)
