VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED AT MORDECAI HISTORIC PARK AND THE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO EVERYONE

Mordecai House

Docent Program

This program offers training in local history and Mordecai family history. Volunteers then conduct guided tours throughout the park.

Mordecai Tea Party

Special Events

Several large events are held each year to highlight the history and offerings of the park. Volunteers are instrumental in the planning and execution of special events.

Ellen Mordecai Garden

Ellen Mordecai Garden

Learn about organic gardening techniques, early layout and design, historic plant varieties, and the cultivation and use of herbs under the guidance of the garden curator.
