Senior Adult Clubs

There are currently 48 senior clubs sponsored by the Senior Adult Program, with over 2,500 members.  Clubs meet at a variety of sites throughout Raleigh, including staffed and unstaffed community centers, churches and senior resiedential communities.  Individuals age 55 and over can join any of the clubs they choose, and you are not required to be a City of Raleigh resident to join a club.

Clubs host a variety of activites during their meetings, including guest speakers, educational lectures, cards (such as bridge and canasta), bingo, luncehons and day outings.  Along with the social interaction and leisure programs, many clubs also participate in volunteer projects and community service opportunites.
