New Development Fees Take Effect July 1

New development fees for the City of Raleigh take effect on Wednesday, July 1, the start of the City’s 2009-10 Fiscal Year (FY 2010).

Beginning on July 1, the development fee schedule for FY 2010 will be available on the City’s website at www.raleighnc.gov/dsguide. Once on the page, go to the “Related Information” box on the upper right side of the screen and click on “Fee Schedule.”

For FY 2010, there will be no increases in the following fees:

  • Planning and site plan review fees;
  • Construction permit fees; and
  • Facility fees.

There will be increases of at least 4.3 percent in most of the City’s various utility connection fees in FY 2010.
