2009 Sunday In The Park Concert Series
The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department Arts Program will begin the 2009 Sunday in the Park Concert Series beginning June 7 and continuing every Sunday evening, except July 5, until August 30 at Fletcher Park starting at 6 p.m. Concerts will be cancelled due to inclement weather and not rescheduled. Lawn chairs and picnic baskets are welcome, however alcohol is not permitted. Admission is free.
Opening the Series on June 7 will be Milangro Saints followed by Filmore Valley Boys on June 14.
The Arts Program has, for over a decade, hosted some of the best local and regional musical talents at the annual Sunday in the Park Concert Series.
