Bats And Bugs And Snakes, Oh My!
Full Moon Hike
This hike begins at sunset and 30 minutes before the moon will rise. Come hike to observe wildlife during this dynamic time as day fades into night. This class is open to participants of all ages and the fee is $3.00. This program will be held at Lake Johnson Park on Wednesday, June 18, from 8:30-9:30 p.m. For more information, contact Nature Programs at 919-831-6640.
Animal Show & Tell
Meet some of the Nature Program animals up close. Possible visitors include: snakes, lizards, insects and other critters. Learn about these animals and the wild critters that live in the park. This program is open to participants aged 5-12 years. It will be held on Saturday, June 28, at Lake Wheeler Park from 1-2 p.m. The cost is $5.00.
