Frogs By Day And By Night! Come Join In The Upcoming Fun Nature Programs


Twilight Trek, July 16
As the sun sets, the woods come alive. Adults and children will enjoy this hike in search of nocturnal animals such as frogs, owls, bats, moths and beavers. Learn all about the adaptations that help these animals survive at night.  This class is open to participants of all ages and the fee is $3.00.  This program will be held at Lake Johnson Park on Wednesday, July 16, from 8:30-9:30 p.m.  For more information contact Nature Programs at 919-831-6640.

Tadpole Tracking, July 26
Join a nature instructor who will guide you in capturing and observing tadpoles. Learn the different kinds of frogs and toads that begin life as tadpoles in the pond. Come ready to get muddy! This program is open to participants aged 8-12 years and the cost is $3.00.  It will be held on Saturday, July 26, at Eastgate Park from 10:30-11:30 a.m.  For more information contact Nature Programs at 919-831-6640.
