Looking For Entertainment For 2008 Holiday Express
The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and the Crabtree Rotary will hold the 2008 Holiday Express December 10-14, 2008. Children of all ages gather each evening to see Pullen Park turned into a Winter Wonderland. Youth ride the train through a lighted holiday display which drops off at Santa's Village where they actually get to meet Santa himself. Other activities include carousel rides, nightly entertainment and a craft activity.
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking local entertainers for our event. The department is looking for chorus groups, orchestras, musical groups and other holiday entertainment. Groups will be performing a 30-minute show one or more evenings either on the main stage or as roving entertainment depending on your group size and type of entertainment. We are asking all entertainment to be "holiday" themed.
