Nash Square To Be Upgraded In January

The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation will be making upgrades to Nash Square during the month of January. The square will get a makeover by removing all the existing benches, concrete pads, and trash receptacles and upgrading them with new cast iron frame benches, new trash and recycle receptacles, and dog waste stations.

Construction will begin January 5 with pedestrian access blocked into the square while work is in progress. For more information or questions regarding the Nash Square upgrade, please contact Ken Hisler at 919-996-4115 or Kenneth.Hisler@ci.raleigh.nc.us.
