Spanish For Kids Available Throughout The Summer
The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department is offering a course that will introduce children to the Spanish speaking world. Students will learn basic greetings, shapes, senses, calendar dates and more. Students will also enjoy a cultural component which includes singing Spanish songs and breaking open a piñata. The course is for children ages 6-11 years old and the cost of this class is $30. Classes are held at Millbrook on Thursdays from June 5 through June 26 from 6-7 p.m. and July 10 through July 31 from 6-7 p.m. They are also being held at Brier Creek Community Center on June 11 through July 2 on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. and July 16 through August 6 on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. Please join us!
