That’s Just Plain Batty On August 23

That’s Just Plain Batty, Saturday, August 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Do bats really get caught in people's hair?  Are they blind?  We'll learn the truth behind several well known myths, go out at dusk in search of bats, play some batty games and make a bat craft. The fee is $10.00 and a snack is included.  Please meet at the Training Lodge which is located at the North entrance to the park off of Durant Rd.  For more information, please contact Jeri Smart at Durant Nature Park, (919) 870-2871.
