City Demos New On-Street Parking Stations


 

This is the 75th anniversary of the on-street parking meter. To celebrate, the City  is installing 193 new pay stations for on-street parking. Mayor Charles Meeker lead a demo Feb. 3 in front of City Hall where the first three pay stations have been installed. Story  |  How to use

Info On The Lightner Safety Center
The Clarence E. Lightner Public Safety Center would be a state-of-the-art facility of 16 stories and approximately 302,000 square feet that would consolidate the City’s public safety operations and other local government offices. Click "More" for additional information about the proposed facility.

Winterfest Extended To Feb. 15!
More than 13,000 skaters have visited the downtown ice rink this season for Winterfest, and that smashing success has led to the decision to leave the outdoor rink open until Feb. 15. What better way to take advantage of cold weather than with ice skating!
