Mayor Meeker Promotes Awareness Of Weatherization Program
It’s that time of year; Raleigh residents are turning up their thermostats to cozy-up their quarters. Mayor Charles Meeker has joined with Resources for Seniors to promote a federally funded program that looks to assure that no one is left out in the cold.
The holidays can be a time of joy and giving, but they also can be a time of tremendous waste. An estimated one million additional tons of waste are created per week in the U.S. during the holiday season, so take time to view this video to help trim the trash.
Loose Leaf Collection Now Under Way
