EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson has announced that Progress Energy’s Smart Grid grant application was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy for award negotiations. One-hundred private companies, utilities, manufacturers, cities and other partners received the Smart Grid Investment Grant awards.
