Current Area Infrastructure Updates
The City is facilitating the development of 98 single-family homes and 51 townhome units in East College Park. New home construction is expected to begin in the Fall of 2017. Construction is underway on infrastructure improvements including water lines, sewer lines, storm drains, and new sidewalks. At least 60 percent of the new homes will be reserved for low- to moderate- income buyers.

Interested in making this community home? The City of Raleigh has resources designed to help first time and other qualifying buyers become homeowners. The Community Development Division assists in the creation of affordable housing for low and moderate-income households who meet HUD's income restrictions. We provide resources for affordable housing and offer programs to assist future homeowners in East College Park.
Already own a home in the College Park NRSA? The City has programs available to help you make improvements to your current residence.
Are you in the market for an affordable home? You may qualify to purchase a subsidized affordable home in East College Park. Affordable housing income limits as defined by the federal government are 80% or below the median income of the Raleigh area.
Does your household income fall above these income limits? No problem- you can still purchase a home in East College Park! Non-income restricted homes will also be available.

The City of Raleigh Homebuyer Program may benefit you. This program is designed to assist first-time and other qualifying homebuyers with purchasing a home by offering up to $20,000 as a zero-interest loan and helps with down payment and/or closing costs or a gap in financing. The homebuyer must qualify with a first mortgage from a participating lender and take a HUD-approved first time homebuyer class.

With the new NRSA Homeowner Rehabilitation Program, you can get up to $90,000 for needed repairs. Looking to make minor improvements? The Citywide Repair Program can provide assistance to fix up your home.
