Summary

The purpose of this project is to repair a culvert on Blenheim Drive, which includes making improvements to the existing stormwater drainage infrastructure that is located on private property and the City of Raleigh’s right-of-way.

Construction will include clearing and removing trees; grading; excavation; removing and repairing the stormwater pipe; and installing riprap to protect soil from erosion. Seeding, planting, and mulching will take place after the stormwater pipe is repaired.

History

A fallen tree damaged a 54-inch stormwater pipe on Blenheim Drive. Necessary repairs will fix the pipe and improve the functionality of the storm drainage system and stabilize the banks and drainage outfall.
