Ronald coordinates the City's fire prevention programs and works closely with the fire inspectors to develop new initiatives as well as assisting with consultations and inspections. He also hosts the Fire Department's television program. Ronald has been around the fire service his entire life and joined his first fire department in November 1992. He has been with Raleigh Fire Department since June of 2007.

Ronald holds a Bachelor's Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master's Degree from Campbell University. He has attended the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland on several occasions and represents the Raleigh Fire Department as a member of the National Fire Protection Association's Urban Fire Safety Task Force.
