The Chief of Police oversees and directs all activities of the Police Department and is the official representative of the Department.

The Deputy Chief reports directly to the Chief, assumes command of the Department in the Chief's absence and carries out other duties as assigned by the Chief.

The Public Affairs office coordinates all information that is distributed internally and externally. They distubute information to the news media, organize news conferences, special forums and events.

The Police Attorney serves as staff legal advisor to the Chief of Police and is responsible for keeping all personnel informed of law changes that affect their activities. The Police Attorney represents the Department in legal actions affecting the organization.

The Community Policing Programs Coordinator is responsible for networking within business and residential communities, designing problem solving strategies in conjunction with police personnel and the community under the direction of the Chief of Police.
