Camp Ranoca

Last Modified: April 12, 2012

Camp Ranoca is a traditional outdoor day camp offering a variety of recreational opportunities for campers ages 7 to 12. This camp takes place at two locations: Durant Nature Park's South Entrance and Umstead State Park's Reedy Creek Entrance.
Morning assembly is followed by outdoor activities including sports, games, nature, arts and crafts, and hiking as the schedule and weather allow. Campers rotate through activities in groups of 20 based on birth date. The afternoon group assembly brings closure to the day and prepares campers for the day ahead. Theme days and swim days are planned for each session.
Ranoca Challenge overnight campouts will take place on Thursday nights of sessions 2, 6, and 8 for campers ages 10-12. There will be no camp on Friday following campouts.

2012 sessions run from June 11th-August 10th. There will be no camp July 2-6.
