Current Activity

A project workshop was held on Tuesday, November 29, at the Anne Gordon Center for Active Adults, at the Millbrook Exchange Center. The workshop was held to gather public input for the initial project design.

The next public meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 2017.

Summary

The improvements will include new pavement and restriping between Green Road and Ingram Drive and will widen the existing roadway from Ingram Drive to Deana Lane. The enhancements will include:

  • A three-lane curb and gutter section
  • Bike lanes
  • Sidewalk on both sides of the street
  • Stormwater and erosion control
  • Culvert replacement

Assessments for new curb and gutter installation will be applicable according to City of Raleigh Assessment Policies. Currently, residential statutory costs are $32 per linear foot and commercial statutory costs are $64 per linear foot.
