To all owners & property management companies:

On July 1, 2016, the North Carolina General Assembly passed Senate Bill 326. This bill eliminates the ability of municipalities to operate a rental dwelling registration program as of January 1, 2017. As of January 1, 2017 the City of Raleigh Rental Dwelling Registration program is dissolved.

Management companies please communicate this information to your property owners to let them know of this Senate Bill and that no renewal notices will be mailed out in February 2017. Also, please cancel any automatic bill pay schedules you may have set up with your bank for the rental dwelling registration program. If you have any questions please contact our office.
