The Records Management Unit is responsible for assisting City Planning and Development Services with public records requests.

The Permit and Development Portal provides information relating to land development and construction in the City of Raleigh. Please visit our portal to obtain information on:

  • Development Plans
  • Public Improvement Plans
  • Building/Permit Plan Review Comments
  • Permits
  • Certificate of Occupancy

How to Request Information

To request building records or to inquire about plans currently in the development review process, please contact 919-996-2599.
