Thoroughfare Facility Fees
The City's Thoroughfare Facility Fee program generates revenues for new street improvement projects and provides reimbursements to developers for the portion of the thoroughfare system they are required to improve with a development plan. Thoroughfare facility fees are charged based on the traffic impact of the development as determined by the land use of a project. These fee revenues provide funds needed to improve the major street system via the City's Capital Improvement Program.
The rate schedule for both Thoroughfare Facility Fees and Open Space Facility Fees are updated at the beginning of each fiscal year. The fees can be found in the Development Services Fee Schedule.
