The City of Raleigh is partnering with Oaks & Spokes to implement a priority project from the Downtown Plan and Bicycle Plan as a six-month pilot. The project will install a two-way separated bike lane, also known as a cycletrack, on West Street from Martin Street to Jones Street. The project’s primary objective is to create a low-stress bikeway connecting Raleigh Union Station and the Warehouse District to the Glenwood South District.

Public Input

City of Raleigh staff and Oaks & Spokes held an open house at Citrix on January 23 to introduce the project to and obtain feedback from citizens, business owners, and property owners. If you weren’t able to attend the open house, you can still provide your input by completing our online survey. Alternatively, you can download the paper survey in the Resources box to the right and mail it to Fontaine Burruss at PO Box 590, Raleigh, NC 27602.
