Plaque Unveiling in City Cemetery

Join us on Saturday, September 7 at 10 a.m. at City Cemetery to unveil a plaque in honor of Cato, an enslaved person who is buried in an unknown location in the African-American section of the cemetery. The plaque was funded by the family of Richard and Nannette Godwin and Raleigh City Cemeteries Preservation, Inc..
