What is a Big Ideas Raleigh Meetup?

The Meetup is a dynamic gathering to spark collaboration, innovation, and strategic planning for Raleigh. Organized by the Office of Strategy and Innovation, these sessions bring together a diverse mix of community members, businesses, organizations, stakeholders, and local government representatives.

Our mission?

To cultivate meaningful connections and ignite idea exchanges. Together, we'll dive into discussions on City initiatives and explore groundbreaking solutions to Raleigh's most pressing challenges. Each Meetup will cover a topic related to the City's Strategic Plan. Get excited for conversations about the arts, sustainability, business development, affordable housing and more!

Big Ideas Raleigh Meetup Topic: Impact Partner Grant 2025
Date: September 30th, 2025

At this meetup, we will introduce to the Impact Partner Grant which provides up to $20,000 grants to six organizations that support Raleigh's entrepreneurs, startups, and innovation ecosystem. This year, the grant is placing a special emphasis on pilot projects that not only drive meaningful economic development but also make Raleigh more sustainable. Join us to brainstorm potential projects!
