Abbotts Creek Community Center is a 26,000-square-foot facility and park. The project is a joint venture with Wake County Government and Wake County Public School System. The building was designed with sustainable features to obtain a Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, developed by the United States Green Building Council.
The gymnasium at the Abbotts Creek Community Center can be set up as a basketball or volleyball court.

Abbotts Creek has a multipurpose room that is the largest room for rent with a sink and 136 person capacity. It rents for $75 per hour.
Abbotts Creek Park has an upstairs fitness studio available for rent with mirrors. The rate to rent is $65 per hour.
Our community center is your community center. No membership fees or dues are required. Sign up for classes in financial wellness, tai chi, English as a Second Language (ESL), yoga, watercolors, and more.

The fitness room at Abbotts Creek has a variety of cardio and strength-building machines to help you stay in shape. You must be 18 or older to use the equipment. Monthly membership is $15 per person.
Abbotts Creek has many free open-play opportunities available to patrons. Check out the calendar at the community center front desk for monthly schedule. Offerings include Senior, Adult, and Youth/Family Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Tot Time, and others.
Tots and young kids alike can enjoy Abbotts Creek with two playgrounds.
Abbotts Creek is part of the Capital Area Greenway System. The 2.9-mile connector follows Abbotts Creek from the Neuse River Trail to Simms Branch Trail near the intersection of Durant Road and Cub Trail.
There are two multipurpose fields at the borrow site south of the North Wake Landfill Park in northeast Raleigh.
