Final design for this project is currently underway. The construction bid for this project will take place in spring 2018.

Note: Construction is expected to begin in fall 2018 so that work at Lower Durant Lake does not impact park programs and access to the greenway.

Summary

A dam/spillway condition assessment for this project was completed by the project consultant, Schnabel Engineering, to determine dam safety issues that need to be addressed, including energy dissipater analysis for chute spillway, inspection of low level outlet, and slope stability analysis of the dam.

This project is being completed in partnership with the Stormwater Management Division and and Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department.
