Summary

The water and sewer construction for this project will replace sewer lines, water lines, and rehabilitation of sewer lines along North Hills Drive from Lead Mine Road to Millbrook Road. A majority of the main sewer line rehabilitation will be done using cast-in-place pipe lining to minimize street damage and its impact on traffic. The water and sewer service lines for each property will be replaced and reconnected at the City's right-of-way. Affected residents will be notified before any service disruptions that may occur. The Public Utilities Department will have a full time on-site representative to serve as a liaison between the property owners/residents and the contractor.

History

The high volume of maintenance issues along North Hills Drive require the City to replace the lines. Some of the homes date back to the 1960s and the current clay sewer lines and cast-iron water lines are beyond their useful service life.
