Update: Change in Location for District E Meeting this Saturday Feb. 3

Council Member Stef Mendell recently announced plans to host community meetings in District E. The next meeting is scheduled for this Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Laurel Hills Community Center, 3808 Edwards Mill Road. The meeting was previously announced as being held at the Lake Lynn Community Center, but had to be moved.

The topic of Saturday's meeting will be Citizen Advisory Councils (CAC's). Leaders of all four CAC's in District E will be on hand to discuss issues of interest within the District, and there will be opportunities for residents to speak with Council Member Mendell about City matters. While the meeting will focus on issues of interest to District E, all Raleigh residents are welcome to attend.

The District E meetings will continue to be held on the first Saturday of each month at various community centers in the district. Upcoming meetings are as follows:

  • Saturday, February 3
    10:00 a.m.
    Laurel Hills Community Center
    3808 Edwards Mill Road

  • Saturday, March 3
    10:00 a.m.
    Brier Creek Community Center
    10810 Globe Road
