Last Day to Report Missed Leaf Pile Pick-Up is March 15

Residents can call in requests for leaf piles to be collected that may have been put out late, blocked by vehicles or otherwise missed. Requests will be accepted through Friday, March 15 by calling 919-996-6446. To be added to the list, you will need to provide your name, address and phone number.

Leaf Collection Completed for 2018-2019 Season

Crews completed the second round of leaf collection on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The City of Raleigh seasonal leaf collection began on Nov. 13, 2018.

Loose leaf collection is residential service for citizens living inside Raleigh city limits and features two rounds of vacuuming leaf piles placed between the curb and sidewalk.

This season crews collected 3,304 loads of leaves estimated at over 13,000 tons or 73,000 cubic yards. This amount would fill an entire football field at a height of 40 feet!
