First Friday at Union Station

For the first time, the Raleigh Union Station Plaza will be a part of the First Friday Gallery Walk on Friday, April 5. The Station Plaza and surrounding public spaces will be activated with interactive creative activities, performances, and festival food and beverage options.

Location: Raleigh Union Station Plaza, 510 West Martin Street, Raleigh NC

Date: First Friday, April 5, 2019

Time: 6 to 9 p.m.

This event is rain or shine, but schedule and venue changes may be necessary if adverse weather conditions occur. Event updates and changes will be posted on Raleigh Arts social media.

Event Partners: City of Raleigh, PineCone - the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, Inc. Raleigh Union Station, Downtown Raleigh Alliance, Raleigh Arts Commission

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. A block of W. Martin Street will be closed from S. West Street to the traffic circle in front of Union Station from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. S. West Street will remain open.

Information about the First Friday Gallery Walk, including a list of other participating locations, is available through the Downtown Raleigh Alliance’s First Friday website.

Raleigh’s State of the City address was previously planned for this evening at Raleigh Union Station.
