Brockton Drive Dam

Construction for the first phase of the Stormwater Management Division's Brockton Drive Lake and Dam Preservation project starts Monday, June 19. Construction includes draining the lake, replacing storm drainage and sanitary sewers, and re-grading the upper lake on Brockton Drive. Major construction, including the demolition of the upper lake, will begin in August.

This project, which will be done in two phases, will address dam safety concerns at the Brockton Drive dam; reduce the frequency and severity of flooding in the area; and improve the water quality of the lake while remaining consistent with the City of Raleigh's lake preservation policy.

Work will be conducted Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you have any questions about this project, pleas contact the Stormwater Management Division at 919-996-3940 or RaleighStormwater@raleighnc.gov.
