District E Community Meeting Set for Saturday, June 2

Council Member Stef Mendell will host a District E community meeting this Saturday, June 2 at 10 a.m. at the Brier Creek Community Center, 10810 Globe Road.

As this Saturday is National Gun Violence Awareness Day, the meeting will feature a guest speaker from the local chapter of Moms Demand Action. While the discussion may be of particular interest to residents of District E, all residents of Raleigh are invited to attend.

The meeting will also include updates about recent City Council activities, as well as the opportunity for questions and concerns to be raised.
