Look, Listen, Learn - Fire Can Happen Anywhere

Fire Prevention Week

In 2018, 110 people have died so far in the state of North Carolina due to fire-related emergencies. Our Fire Prevention Week message this year is “Look, Listen, Learn. Be aware fire can happen anywhere.” We want you look for potential fire dangers, listen for the sound of smoke alarms to know when to escape your home, and learn your home escape plan. Fire Prevention Week runs Sunday, October 7 through Saturday, October 13. The Raleigh Fire Department encourages everyone to come out to one of our events or visit your local fire station to learn what you can do keep you family safe from fire.
Saturday, October 6 – Pullen Park, 10am-2pm

Event Description: Our Touch a Truck event will take place this day, with various apparatus coming from the all over the city to the new fire station for visitors to see.
