GoRaleigh Proposes January 2019 Service Improvements

As a result of the Wake Transit Plan, GoRaleigh is extending service in southeast and northwest Raleigh.
Plans specifically include proposals to realign southeast Raleigh routes 18 and 19 and northwest Raleigh route 4. Service in southeast Raleigh would be extended along Poole, Barwell and Rock Quarry roads. Service in northwest Raleigh would be added along Edwards Mill and Blue Ridge roads.
The updated bus plan for Wake County includes these proposals and is available to read online beginning Aug. 20. Public comment will be received through Sept. 10. GoRaleigh invites the public to meet with staff in three upcoming public meetings to learn more and provide input.
Tuesday, Aug. 21, Laurel Hills Community Center, 3808 Edwards Mill Road, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; GoRaleigh route 4
Tuesday, Aug. 28, Tarboro Road Community Center, 121 N Tarboro Street, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; GoRaleigh routes 15 & 18
Tuesday, Sept. 4, GoRaleigh Operations Center, 4104 Poole Rd, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. (coffee served), 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; GoRaleigh route 18
