Join Raleigh Parks in Celebrating Pi Day!

Pi Day is recognized on March 14 (3.14) around the world. Pi day is an annual opportunity for math fans to celebrate the Greek letter π. Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is joining in the fun by challenging people to walk, run or bike 3.14 miles on Pi Day. Those people who complete the challenge will receive a Pi Day medal.

How does it work?

  1. Run, bike or walk 3.14 miles on March 14.
  2. Fill out the form by March 18.
  3. That’s it! Medals will be mailed the week of March 25.

You can also walk, run or bike at one of our many fitness centers located at your community center. You can find a list of community centers here.
