Lumley-Westgate-Ebenezer Church Roads Bicycle Pedestrian Project Public Meeting

The City of Raleigh is proposing to construct a continuous bicycle path and add pedestrian connections along Lumley Road, Westgate Road, Ebenezer Church Road, and Graylyn Drive to connect the Brier Creek community and places in between to the Sycamore Trail area within William B. Umstead State Park. The proposed project consists of on-road buffered bicycle lanes, paved off-road multi-use paths, signalized highway crossings, and connecting existing sidewalk gaps along the corridor.

The project includes work along Lumley Road (Brier Creek Parkway to Glenwood Avenue), Westgate Road (Glenwood Avenue to Leesville Road, and Ebenezer Church Road (Westgate Road to Umstead Park).

The City of Raleigh and our engineering design consultant, Stewart, Inc., have addressed comments from City staff and would like to also receive comments from you, the public. In order to obtain feedback on the design and how it may impact you, staff has scheduled a public meeting
