National Volunteer Week

News posted Apr. 15, 2018 - 9:00 am

Every year, thousands of City of Raleigh residents give back to our community through volunteering. National Volunteer Week is April 15 through April 21. We think this is the ideal time not only to thank all our volunteers, but also to highlight the many volunteer opportunities available.

During 2017, more than 14,000 people donated their time and their talents to various departments within City government. Their impact can be seen and felt throughout our community. The City of Raleigh is a better place in which to live because of the selfless contributions of so many volunteers. Because of that, we thank you.

If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer your time and talents, there are plenty of ways you can pitch in!
