Rain Barrels: What you Need to Know

Are you looking for a small home project that will help reduce water pollution? Installing a rain barrel is a simple way to capture and store rainwater from your roof that would otherwise go to storm drains and streams. Recycling rainwater reduces the amount of stormwater runoff coming from your property and pollution that reaches waterways. The water can be used for outdoor household needs, too! (Rain barrels should not be connected to plumbing for drinking water.)
