Traffic Alert: Sewer Main Repair to Close 2000 Block of White Oak Road

Beginning Monday, February 5, the City of Raleigh will close the 2000 block of White Oak Road, between Oxford Road and Alexander Road for a sewer main repair. The work is expected to be completed on February 23.

The following is a detour around the worksite:

  • Motorists traveling north on White Oak Road, turn right onto Beechridge Road, left on Glenwood Avenue, left on Alexander Road and right back onto White Oak Road

  • Motorists traveling south on White Oak Road, turn left onto Alexander Road, right on Glenwood Avenue, right on Beechridge Road and left back onto White Oak Road

  • Motorists approaching this work area should expect traffic delays and are advised to avoid this area if possible.

Customers in this area should not experience any interruption of service. If service interruptions are necessary, residents will be notified in advance.
