Pedestrian Bridge Deck Improvements

Safety Improvements

The Project includes the replacement of timber decking on several bridge structures located along the Neuse River Trail at mile markers 2.75  and 11.5 using Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) decking material. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of timber decking on the bridge structure located along the House Creek Trail at mile marker .25.  The timber decking at this location will be replaced with concrete.

These greenway bridge deck improvements will provide an improved non-slip deck surface condition.
